I?m building a few panels to test the different materials.
1. Rockwool highly recommended across the globe (80kg/cu m)
2. Energy foams, used my renowned local acoustic shops (also high density, 64kg/cu m)
3. The pink stuff , also 50mm width so worth a test.
The account of linen I?m using is of a greater quality than what I have seen from a few places. Over R100per meter vs. R20 a meter I saw on some installations.
A whole lots of boards etc.
I?m going the unconventional route of a frame with acoustic foams only,
I am adding a back plate/board for more support and durability
I might sell 2 off these once done as I have a plan to make 8, I need 6 ?- I must add a disclaimer though: this can be a costly exercise to do it self, its better to just buy off the shelf, obviously I am doing this to test the various acoustic materials otherwise Just call a guy like Oxland, Genesis, etc and get done with it
Time to work and stop with picture taking.
