Alright so at the moment I've got the following.

Hifiman Arya v2
Focal Elegia
LetShouer S12
Driven by SMSL SH9 and ifi zen dac

I find myself using the Elegia the most because its closed, s12 I use for gaming as its great with precision audio.
The Arya I crack out every now and again when its quiet, which is almost never and eventually switch back to my Elegia.

I just did an AB test with all of them to see what is it I'd be missing if I sell the Arya - short answer is not really that much.
Sure its more detailed (slightly) has a massive soundstage and decent imaging - but I cant say that necessarily makes the listening much more enjoyable.
I love the punchy dynamics of the Elegia and its more fun. Even the S12 (IEM Planar) has great dynamics and soundstage for an In ear.

But I've got this strange fear in selling the Arya. Like I'm somehow going to regret it.
I've come to a strange place that maybe a few of you have - Is more technically superior headphones really making listening to music more fun or enjoyable?
Why do "cheaper" headphones just sometime feel better to listen to?
Does the amount of time I spend using the Arya justify keeping it?

I don't know. Anyone else struggle to let go of headphones?
