Morning All
I wanted to check/confirm my thinking based on some research I've done (and before buying any new bits and pieces).
I want to use my Mac Mini as the heart of my audio system. It connects to a NuPrime DAC10 via USB, with playback via Audirvana. I want to set it up near my headphone station which is about 5m from the TV. I also use the Mac Mini to watch shows/movies (using Plex) and typically connect directly to the TV (sound bar actually) via HDMI. Can I:
- Move the Mac Mini to the headphone station, with the DAC, hard drives, etc.
- Setup an Apple TV next to or behind the TV and hook it up with HDMI
- Stream the "screen" from the Mac Mini via AirPlay, for when I want to watch something with Plex
If so, is there a particular "minimum" version of the Apple TV required in order to use AirPlay like that?
Cheers
