Hi guys,thanks for any input.
I recently acquired a Yamaha RXV 457 receiver,good sound.
i want to use it mainly to listen to music,which i play from my android smartphone,connected via aux cable.
I use FLAC music files which i playthru vlc,without any effects activated.
The sound is quite good,but i would like to use the subwoofer out RCA function on the Yamaha amp to route it to another amp that will handle the low frequency .
Is it a simple function of plugging in a RCA lead into the sub out of the yamaha and leading that into the AUX channel of my other receiver amp.
Then i use the sub out line on that amp to power the passive sub
