I know there is a better description for this, but just can't remember at this time ;D
My daughter has an old NAD 3020A amplifier(25 years old!) and complained this weekend that whenever she powers the amp on, the speakers make a "thump" sound. It has always done this even if the volume is set to minimum and at that time it was accepted to be normal
Is there a way to eliminate this?
