Hi all. Been wanting to buy a good stereo system for a while now.

I have come to realise that i could spend quite a lot of money on this as I was looking at buying a pair of B&W 685's and a Yamaha A-S801 a good 10" sub.
R14000 for the Yamaha
R8500 for the 685's
R6000 for the sub

Then I thought of what else in could do with that money and the guilt set in.

I am personally not sure that for what i would spend I would get better enjoyment than a cheaper setup.

I started to look at a pair of Castle Knight 2's that are half the price of the B&W's. I think they would be great for what I need and they are cost effective. The reviews are pretty good.
I haven't decided on a good stereo amplifier yet.

So the questions are,

1. Any advice on the price VS value between a cheaper "good" system and what I wanted originally?
2. Opinions on the Castle Knight 2's?
3. Options for a cost effective stereo amplifier to pair the Castles with.
4. Best place to buy the Castles ( online they vary between R3600 and R4500
5. What finish are the ones in the picture below (on the left)?

Many thanks for any advice or input.
