The Samsung Freestyle projector seems to be on promotion at the moment and you get a free battery base with it. Sounds like a good deal and I'm tempted to get it to replace my very old Samsung plasma TV which has more vertical stripes than most race cars. I basically just use it as a monitor anyway with my Xbox or Amazon Fire TV stick being the main sources of streaming services.
I like that this projector doesn't need ceiling mounting as my lounge is double volume so I could plop it onto the coffee table nicely. (The vertical laser projectors are way out of my budget.)
Just wondering if it will really deliver HD quality images?
And lightbulb lifespan? If that is still a thing or am I showing my age now?
Its just my wife and I and we typically watch an hour or three of Netflix/Youtube/Amazon Prime in the evenings. F1 over the weekends... I see it takes a micro HD input so hoping I can simply connect it to my Yamaha AV with HD to micro HD cable?
And is my painted wall ok or do I need to get a special screen?
