I have a Sinotec 42" LCD TV connected via HD cable to an HD PVR
The audio from the HD PVR is connected to a Yamaha RXV 350 receiver into the D-TV/CBL input
The coaxial video is connected to the D-TV/CBL input as well.
My 2nd Xtraview decoder's Audio & Video is connected to V-Aux input on the receiver.
An LG DVD/HDD Recorder is connected to the VCR input and output according to the Yamaha's Manual.
I want to achieve the situation whereby i can record from any source plugged into the receiver.
As the situation stands now, i cannot record as the Recorder's source is itself.
The reason for this is i followed the manuals direction of plugging the input & output of the recorder into the receivers VCR's input & output.
How else can i achieve this?
