Please suggest interconnects

Hi,

Here is my setup:
Classe Seventy Power Amp
Audio Research LS2B MKII

I need to purchase balanced XLR interconnects to connect these two.

My current choice is : Audioquest DiamondBack

Since they will be adjacent to each other, I was thinking 1m should be long enough ? Any reason to go longer ?

Also - please offer advice on the choice of cable. Any better ones out there in the same price range ?
