Playing around with a NUC running Linux Mint and a 7" Waveshare touchscreen - I reckon I have a winner audio-player in the making.
Sound output is via USB to the DAC.
Everything works fine except the following small issue:
Warning: I am not at all experienced in programming, coding etc!
In order to get an onboard keyboard to use with the touchscreen, I open the console and enable the onboard keyboard:
sudo apt-get install onboard
Then start it with the command: onboard
It works a treat, got it nicely configured to work the way I want it.
Here's the issue:
As soon as I close the console, it kills the process.
Does this mean that I must open the console and start 'onboard' every time the system is used?
