Does anybody use the build-in Bluetooth device of the RPi 3?

Using the installation instructions from the Archlinux ARM site, the Bluetooth device is not detected.

From this site, there is clear instructions how to compile a package to install the hciattach-rpi3 and pi-Bluetooth drivers:
https://www.tech-knowhow.com/2016/06/raspberry-pi-3-bluetooth-arch-linux/

Now one can use the build-in Bluetooth device, I installed the bluez and bluez-utils packages.

I then followed the Arch Wiki instructions https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/bluetooth_keyboard to install the keyboard.

I created the systemd service file and the udev rule after pairing and trusting the device.

There is a command to enable Bluetooth, not described in the wiki, and without it the device did not work automatically after startup:

Code:
sytemctl enable bluetooth

So now everything is working as it did before, but I do not require to use the USB dongle.

However, after a while of inactivity, I press a button and then have to wait about 10 - 15 seconds for the BT keyboard and the RPi to connect again. This was the same when using the device's BT dongle on the RPi 2.

When is connected/paired to a windows machine, it is always connected, even after a long period on inactivity response is instant.

Am I just setting it up incorrectly.

The device is a Riitek Bluetooth mini keyboard.

Any advice/input would be appreciated.

Regards
