Got one yesterday and must say that the 1 demo channel looks pretty impressing.
24th will be the start of the M-Net hd channel.
Not that difficult to install aswell, as long as you get the correct equipment.
I got the pvr and 2 splitters yesterday, and did not get any joy. Only found out later on their website that the splitters were
my problem, seeing that 'Sophie' at their helpdesk did not have a clue as to what she was talking about! ::)
Got the "multiswitch" today and were almost ripped of like never before. First shop that had stock of the 2-in 6-out
wanted to change me R950 for the switch...motherfl*cker and I almost went for it. Drove a further 1km down the road and came across
another shop that only had stock of the 2-in 8-out and they went for R450, much better and ever the same brand as the other rippof shop
in Botha ave Lyttleton.
Got home, connected the 2 inputs to my daul lnb wires and four outputs to the pvr, switched on, did a all channel scan and whalla..welcome to the
world of hd-tv.
I could say that it is a R3000 well spend. :)
