So my UMC 1 processor for no reason or warning started to give me a problem. My center, left surround and subwoofer had a very low and very distorted output. I first checked all connecters, swopped power amps, checked levels well actually I did every troubleshoot I could think of. I finally mailed Emotiva's tech support and had to get a brilliant tech asking me to check levels and spkr size ect after I told him what I did. His response time to my mail , about 24 hrs. Then another got back to me telling me he read through my mails and suggested I do a firmware flash and upgrade. I did this and it helped with my center and sub. I did it again and everything was ok.
So if you have an issue on your unit try the firmware.
