finally an AV topic from me and not just an A post
im looking for a decent disc player with a USB port that will handle FLAC files. i cannot find a single one. I had my eyes on the marantz UD5005 but it seems that this device cannot decode FLAC files.
im not keen on burning the flac to audio and playing discs... i already have the original CD's i want to keep them as archived master copies and play the flac files.
not keen on a mede8er or the segate goflex or WDTV devices either... i played with them and dont really like them. i own the segate goflex.
any suggestions will be appreciated
budget is R7K max. id appreciate if this doubles up as good CD player first. dvd and/or bluray come in second.
