Cheap non-HDMI AV amps that are good for stereo?

This may be a long shot, but are there any affordable pre-HDMI AV amps that do good stereo?  I'm looking to swap my current setup for one, preferably that can push out at least 90W per channel and that has a good DAC on board.

My current setup includes:

One Rega Cursa preamplifier (it has a very good phonostage)
Two Rega Maia power amps, one of which has been upgraded with additional capacitors (I believe)
One Rega tuner to complete the set

Straight off the bat I'll say I'm not all that interested in Onkyo, as everything I've read suggests that Onkyo AV amps suck at stereo.
