Hi Guys
I have a pair of Bose 901 series vi direct/reflect speakers, with there eq not being use. I use my the Jamo 7.7 as my main speakers, and 2 x Jamo 200 center speakers. My rears are also Jamo, but small.
I would like to get better rears, and use the small Jamo's as back presence speakers (going 11.2 route). Now comes the idea: I can use the Bose speakers for rears, but I think it would look a bit odd in my place, and I would not be able to use them as specified, for best sound due to installation restrictions.
I can take all the units out of the box (9 speakers per unit) and build my own, on spec boxes, that will suit my room, all facing direct. But thinking, will I not then ruin a piece of history, these units apparently put Bose on the map. Must I sell them and buy Jamo's?
What do you guys think?
