I have a 5ch MM7055 power amp that I use to power my front speakers. I only use two channels from it - I dont intend to bi-amp the fronts from the MM7055 since as far as I understand it has only one power supply so it would probably not have any real benefit.

An option I have been thinking about is to use my SR6013 in combination with the MM7055 to bi-amp. Maybe use the (now unused) front ouputs of the SR6013 to power the higher frequencies of my speakers and the MM7055 to power the lower frequencies. This all depends of course on how well level matched they are. My speakers are B&W 703 (first series)

Would there be a benefit to doing this? Or is it just adding unnecessary complications without real benefit?
