Fountain of knowledge, please share your thoughts.
I am wanting to bi-amp my speakers with two non-identical amps.. I know, not ideal. My question though is, spec wise on paper, how far off the plot am I from it sounding "okay".
Unfortunately hooking it all up to test and listen is a rather challenging exercise and would prefer to avoid if possible. The motivation for the two different amps is to have the power at the bottom and the finesse at the top.

Pre-amp
  • Output Impedance: 200 Ω
  • Maximum output signal - RMS: 50 V

Amp A (will be used for HF)
  • Input Impedance: 200 kΩ
  • Input Sensitivity: 1V

Amp B (will be used for LF)
  • Input Impedance: 47 kΩ
  • Input Sensitivity: 2.3V

Thanks.
