Hi Everyone
I guess this question has come up a lot.
I'm looking into buying a new receiver, as my current AMP/receiver only has HDMI pass-through. I will be using this vir Video, Music and some Console gaming in my living room. Devices I will be using, PC (upgrading to Asus Xonar Hdav1.3 Deluxe), my PS3 and Xbox 360. I want to get rid of all the extra cables, and only use HDMI for the device connections, and of course, I want lossless sound.
Now I know my first problem is that I bought an all in one HT setup,but you have to start somewhere I guess. Will the speakers that came with the setup be relevant on a new receiver, or will I be able to use them until I can upgrade?
