Moving-what to do?

We use to stay in a house in Rooihuiskraal in Centurion witch is bonded, so we had a armed robbery there one night about 1y 3m ago.the emotional pressure was to much at the time so we decided to move into a estate where now we are paying rent (a sh!t load ) for safety,but this is killing my finances.The point is I'm considering moving back to the house as the tendant contract is going to expire in 2 months time.would any of you consider doing that and maby upgrade the security or am i going oftrack now.
Please i would really appreciate your input even a yes or no
