Thought I would take the opportunity to consult the collective wisdom around here.
Just switched out a much loved Sansui AU-417 for an Akai PR-A04/W04 combo which is proving to be truly epic through some Sonus Faber Concertos.
However, I suspect the Basik / Akito mk1 / AT-95E combo is now the weak link in the chain. Presumably the cart is the first point of call, but how far should I go before the Basik becomes a little too basic ? Bearings on the Akito seem fine for now...
