As I mentioned in another thread I feel most of have what are essentially non-negotiable aspects of our audio experience. i am referring to those aspects of a system which we are not willing to give up. It could be anything from looks to tonality to build quality to brand?
Mine refer specifically to the tonality and staging. Most other things I can live with or compromise on.
So for me I like a :
Forward upper bass and midrange creating what I like to call musical 'slam'
In terms of presentation it need to be in front of the speaker plane and extend backwards quite deep. I will compromise on width for more depth.
