Firstly, thank you for adding me to this awesome community
and I apologise if this is in the wrong section
I'm in need of some advice since I a noob:
We have a Marantz amp and Jamo speakers combo but the Marantz amp power button has been flickering red for quite some time and I only just sorted that issue out (just needed to be reset)
Anyway, the speakers sometimes make a popping sound when they're on. Now, before buying a new set up I want to first replace the wiring to the speakers and see if that helps.
I did some research and "cheap" audio cables used by the installer of the system is a likely cause.
So, I need to get 12/14 guage audio cables used for 6 - 8 ohm speakers (is this right? I'm a noob here) Where would I get this in Pretoria as I cant seem to find much online and I dont want to ge the wrong stuff.
Any help/ advise will be much appreciated!
