Whilst I moved away from Ubuntu as a desktop OS quite some time ago and never looked back I still use old instals as server OS hosting music and video libraries.  Wanting to add USB wireless to my folks' music server I figured what the hell, let's go with latest Ubuntu server (to maximise chances of the USB WiFi working out the box) and whilst I'm at it convert their storage from ext4 partitions to a btrfs volume.

Download ubuntu-15.04-server-amd64.iso, confirm integrity of the iso, write it to a memory stick and boot their NL36 Microserver with it.  Bloody install hangs at 83%.  I think Canonical has completely lost the plot - quality control has gone out the window and working with Ubuntu is beginning to remind me of the dark days of being bound to Windows.  It's time to completely abandon all things Ubuntu.
