After reading an article about the D'Appolito designed Thor speakers, I was curious to know how much the materials would cost to build such a "high-end" set of speakers.
Yikes! It was quite a shock to my system to see that the drivers alone(for two speakers) will cost about R13K! So I would assume that a completed set will be around R20K(or more!) That is using 4 x SEAS W18E-001 and 2 x SEAS T25CF drivers.
And to top it all, you won't know what they sound like until you have completed the project, but the comments I have seen are very impressive :icon_grovel:
