I hope my terminolgy is correct, so here goes.

From my Dstv the tv signal is sent to all the others rooms via normal tv-coax and splitters.  In my tv room I now have my old AVR which doesn't have the RF-in port so I first have to take the signal to the TV and from the TV to the AVR with RCA connectors in order to have sound from the AVR - it doesn't make sense.

I need to know if a person can buy a "splitter/converter" where you plug in the tv-coax into it and the "outs" will be RCA Video and Audio.  Then I can take it straight to my AVR and from there to the TV.

Does anybody know of such a "converter" and where I could buy it in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town?
