Hey Guys,
So ill be straight up and honest with you guys,
I have not one clue about sound proofing and stuff for speakers in a room. But this is why I am here. To learn about another Rabbit hole in the AV community.
So I have a massive desk where I work and I have a pair of Wharfedale 122 speakers (They Do not sound near as good as the 10.# diamond series)
But anyways. I have moved them to a TV stand near my bed a couple of times and the bass like triples when the speakers are that side of the room.
Now I suspect the tables legs are creating some sort of bass suppressor ?
I now am getting some equipment and the space on my desk is running out so I want to put these speaker on the wall.
How ? simply be place some shelves support by l brackets.
Something like this.
Now what must one look out for when doing this ? will the wall magical make the bass better. Will the highs and mids change ?
Please enlighten me.
Byron
