I'm a newly joined member who requires some expertise from the speaker gurus.
I have a pair of vintage 3 way speakers from the late 70's/early 80's and I'd like to protect the rolled foam surrounds on the woofers from deteriorating.
A few years back I had a pair of SEAS 2 way kit speakers and the woofers had some sort of varnish/clear coating on the surrounds i assume to keep them in good condition for years to come. I'd like to do the same on my current set of speakers, just interested in protecting them without altering music quality.
Has anyone done this? And possibly recommend a local product for use.
