Hi All

I bought a 70" TU7000 from Samsung in November 2020.
Since this year I started to have issues with it. I will switch off on its own and then I need to switch it back on again.
At times the screen will go blank with some back light flashing.
Now the unit does not go on at all.
I logged twice a call with Samsung on the issue where the canceled the 1st one without calling me about the reason why. So I logged it again.
When the Technician came he told us that this series of tv had an issue with the main panel from the start and after a while they stopped this panel and created a new panel that had no issues.
But since I logged a call I was told the unit will be replaced and not fixed. A lot of up and down on this where a few days later they will replace the panel just to be told again they will replace the unit and again they will fix it.
At this stage I am fed-up and would rather want a refund.

Who else had issues like this with Samsung products?
At this stage I am looking at getting a Hisense U7G unit.

What is your thoughts and what would you replace it with? (Max Budget is R20 000)
