I am trying to introduce an external 12v trigger to power the power amps on and off. There is a pop on the speakers when the power amp is powered off this way. This doesn’t happen when the power amp is switched off with the on board power switch. I take it that this happens because power is just pulled off from the power amp instead of it switching off as designed. Is there any damage that can happen to either the speakers and power amp due to this popping sound?
