New to the forum and need some advice. I bought the Yamaha RX V430 when it came out, with the satelite surround speakers and sub. I "gave" it to my daughter a couple of years back. The system has suffered a bit of abuse, one channel is dead but does make a sound when you do the speaker test. My question is, is it worth sending it in for service and repair? Secondly if the above us viable I would like to contribute to a soundbar for them, taking the Yamaha back. So what would a decent value be?
