Most of us, I assume, listen to loud music mostly through headphones. I stream Tidal through laptop, dac, amp, headphone (or speakers). Is there a way to measure loudness in dB in this set-up? Supposedly it is fairly simple to measure ambient loudness with laptop mic or cell, but I'm more interested in headphone setup.
I've been worried about my hearing and went to see audiologist today. Hearing impairment in high frequency range, which is a problem with speech recognition, otherwise fine.
Audiologist recommend listening at higher than 70 dB no longer than an hour daily.
Any thoughts? Thanks
