Mismatching floorstanders and centre - good idea\bad idea

Greetings folks,

Quick question ... I currently have Mission MX3 floorstanders hooked up to an entry level pioneer receiver, and I use it exclusively for movies. I'm thinking about adding a centre speaker into the mix, but finding a matching unit is proving rather difficult.

So my question ... is adding a centre from a different brand (maybe polk, jamo, etc) be a good idea or bad idea? How badly will my ears bleed?
