Somewhat old news, but for those who don't know.. Showmax is heading in the right direction with their recently updated platform, now being able to stream true HD and better audio. Pleasure to watch this and some of their recently added content.. True Detective, Where the Crawdads Sing, Oppenheimer, Barbie (turned out to be pretty entertaining, even though a bit silly sometimes).
It still has a few irritations, like not being able to resume play on an Android TV box - requiring a reboot - but otherwise an improvement. A DSTv sub is a bit easier to swallow.. gulp..
