Impression of my new vinyl system

So I did it, ventured into vinyl after decades of digital. My impression so far.... MUDDY!? My Black widow master pieces are beautiful works of art... thanks Schalk you are a master. However the sound is uh um ... muddy. Is it my ears, the system not been run in, the acoustics of the room, my speakers are all of the above?
