i am currently trying out an ifi zen streamer, connected to my audio gd r8 via usb.
the streamer & dac both have i2s connectors.
since i know pretty much absolutely nothing about i2s (and many, many other subjects to boot) i thought it best to ask here if i can just connect the 2 devices with a normal hdmi cable?
iirc when buying the dac i was advised that i can do this, but i cannot connect to an hdmi device.
