A quaint, typically Japanese interface and slightly fussy about the setup

You will need a PC, USB attached DAC and a smartphone or tablet

First

1. Access the HYSOLID website. (http://www.hysolid.com)
2. Scroll through the page and click on "User Registration".
3. A new screen will open, carry out the user registration.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you specified. Access the URL within the email to complete the registration.

Then go back to Windows

1. Click on ?Download? on the HYSOLID website.
2. "SetupEn.msi" will be downloaded, click and run the application.
3. The program will start, click "Next".
4. When the next screen is displayed, click "Next"
5. When the next screen is displayed, click "Next"
6. When the next screen is displayed, click "Close".

Now login with the email and password you created

1. Start "HYSOLID TOOL" from the desktop.
2. A confirmation message will be displayed, click "Yes". (If it does occur)
3. Sign in.

* HYSOLID performs an association between PC and smartphones. Do not sign in to 2 or more PCs with the same email address.

* When you sign in to 2 or more PCs with the same email address, all PCs will start and sign out of HYSOLID. After this has occured sign in to a single PC. After this has occured sign in to a single PC.

4. Click "Select".
5. Select the folder which contains the sound source files. (This is the fussy part, you can ONLY select local folders)
* Do not select the root folder. (example: "C:/")

* It is recommended to specify a folder in the PC for the first-time use. The setting can be changed on this window at any time.

* Folders in NAS can be specified, so please do not specify a folder which requires a user ID and password.

* When you specify a folder in NAS, please specify as //Server/Folder. Drive names (Z:, etc.), which you have assigned, cannot be used.

* Folder passwords can be input directly on the previous screen.

6. Click "OK".
7. Wait until complete.  (In my case, this took hours as I was scanning a 3.6Tb hard disc)
8. Click "OK".
8. Click "OK".

Now load the Hysolid app on your phone or tablet

Lots more detail here - https://www.hysolid.com/howto.html

Comment:  It works and is a change from JRiver.  You are able to change DAC parameters on the fly)

[member=746]chrisc[/member] thanks for this one!! I actually received 2 mini  PC's on Friday and my plans is to use one for my audio setup. And here you posted just the thing that I was looking for. Something that I can run and control via app. Thanks

Its painfully slow

I scanned a 32Gb USB stick, this took 10 mins and then it worked.  It permits you to fiddle around with WASAPI and ASIO.  All well and good, but only ASIO works with my DAC

I think the program could do with an update

I spotted that they stop with there support via checking FB. People posted comments. I will do a test run on windows7 and a old Tab. Will see how it turns out.
