We've had our home theatre for about 3 months now, and I absolute love it. I found myself using it less and less often, because the only sources I am using is apple music from my iphone through the bluetooth module on the amp, or through an optic cable from the smart tv, playing Netflix or youtube.
I have a 1st gen i7 computer lying around that I will be using as a media centre. To keep all my dsd and lossless files, as well as some blueray movies.
How do I ensure that I get the best h experience with what I already have? I realise I will need to get a dac of some sort to feed from the pc into the HT.
Now this is my main gripe, I want to ensure I get proper 5.1 whenever it is available... So if I the blueray movie I play has 5.1, I want that 5.1 through the HT system.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
