Please find attached circuit diagram of a DIY amplifier I build many years ago. It came as a pre assembled board and I needed to only buy or wind a transformer and construct a enclosure. This was a project I bought and did when I was still a student. Used it, stored it, redid the case and now I want to pass it on to my son. I listened to it a couple of months ago and compared to my Marantz. Obviously the Marantz is more advanced and better components. What I noticed is the amplifer does not have much detail. It has volume and power but detail is missing. I even turned up the treble and bass to full with no better results. I humbly want to ask the experts here if they would mind looking at the attached circuit diagram containing also a list of components. What can I change out or replace to make improvements to this amplifier? Would really appreciate it.
