I currently have a Integra receiver doing pre duties for multichannel content and decoding of music on a PC via HDMI.
What I am trying to do is get the audio from a source connected via HDMI to pass to Zone2/3... Anyone got this going?
Speculation online seems that only the latest Yamaha and Denon/Marantz models allow for a "whole house stereo" mode, that allow for this? Also believed that to achieve what I am trying to do, each HDMI input should have it's own independent DAC onboard?
When I have a hard drive directly connected to the Integra's USB port and playing lossless content, this I am able to feed to zone2/3
