Hi, does anyone know for sure what the 'C' stands for in Denon's AVC amplifier range? I know the older designation 'AVR' referred to the inclusion of a radio in the box but I cannot find a definitive statement as to what AVC refers to. The radio (receiver) has been removed from AVC models but the letter C must have a meaning, surely? Otherwise they could simply call these models AV XYZ etc.

The absence of a radio represents the march of so called progress but honestly, trying to find pleasant and quality music on FM stations here in RSA is an exercise in frustration tolerance anyway, so the radio in my amp is no longer in use. Internet radio is clearly the better option.
