I just recently bought myself a set of B&W CM8's which im (hopefully not for too much longer) using on a Pioneer VSX-921 receiver... I plan on getting an Onkyo tx-nr609 but until i can find one at a decent price (missed the one thst went recently on the classifieds unfortunately by a few weeks) i am stuck with the Pioneer. The question i have is; on the Pioneer's setup menu, one of the options under 'x-over' is to set the frequency to either 50, 80, 100 or 200hz...its not something that can be disabled so i wanted to know if anyone has any idea as to which is the best setting...im running them as stereo speakers at this stage with no additional subwoofer. Any suggestions?
