From the previous topic I concluded that I need a dedicated amp to drive these 2x 4 ohm 50W shakers so I decided to buy back my first HT AV from a friend - Yamaha DSP E492 & DDP2.

Here are my questions in connecting the DSP to only drive my shakers:

a.  I don't need to connect the DDP2 in this instance, correct?

b.  My Sony DG910 is my main AVR to drive all speakers and has 4x sub woofer outputs - one already going to my sub.  Do I connect one of the 3 remaining sub-outputs to the DSP "discrete 6.1" or "pre-amp" subwoofer input?

c.  From the DSP, sub out, I have 2 choices - "single" or "dual" out. Which one do I use to connect the shakers to?

d.  Now, the 4 ohm speakers.  The DSP does have an impedance selector but only addresses centre and rear speakers, not subs.  In my instance I'm not using any rear, centre or main speakers thus rendering the selection obsolete. Correct?

e.  The shakers have RCS connectors (+ & -), how should the wiring be done to obtain 8 ohms?

Thanks in advance.
