I just bought a Ellies 720w auto inverter. I connected everything. This is while loadshedding is currently being implemented. Well it works. TV comes on, dstv decoder booted up. All looks fine. But the moment I wanted to change the source to dstv, my TV gives the message check device power, as if the decoder is turned off. But it's on and on a previously selected channel. Can the inverter be defective?
