I have the b&w 683 (s1) which I bought a while back and have been wanting to get the matching center, HTM61. Now that they have revised the series, I'm worried that I might have matching issues if I get the HTM61 S2. That said though, a lot of research showed that many were not too happy with the HTM61 and preferred the CM8 center or using a 685 as a center. The new HTM61 S2 is said to be closer to the CM8 series with the decoupled tweeter design.
So given the choice between the HTM61 S1 or S2 (ignoring price/aesthetics) which one should I go for?
