I am researching AV receivers and notice that the wireless functionality only exists for audio and that you cant stream video as well. This is normally how it works with sound bars etc either using Bluetooth or wifi.
Where is the problem with streaming audio and video together to the AVR. is the limitation on android device or iOS or is it the AV receiver's ability or is there going to be too much information to convey using the wireless transmission or Bluetooth protocol currently used for video as well?
Can someone in the know elaborate and maybe point out some devices that can - some streamers or an AVR that does all of this. It would be great to play a video on the tablet or phone in full dh and transfer that wirelessly to the receiver.
