Bought a new Ryobi 4 stroke lawnmower last year near end of the summer season. It most likely cut the lawns about four times before we packed it away. On the last one or two cuts we had issues with it running badly, revs up and done, then not wanting to start again after being stopped. Checked the spark plug and it was completely fouled. Asked Ryobi and was told I had over-filled the oil reservoir. We drained the oil and added fresh, to the exact specs.
Fast forward to this season. I'm cleaning the spark plug on average every two to three cuts because they look like the picture attached. Pretty much buying a new plug every month.
I asked elsewhere and had the following replies:

Not using correct oil
Piston rings leaking
Dirty carb
Having the clean the spark plug every two to three cuts is not abnormal.
Any suggestions on what the issue is most likely to be?
