Hi all

I've got a Yamaha RX 767 Amp and I just bought a Samsung KS8500 4K, HDR TV. My main use for the TV is Console gaming with my PS4 Pro. Last night I discovered that my Amo can't process 4K images. It was expected but none the less, still a bummer.

I've had to go direct to the TV now from the PS4 and I'm using an optical cable back from the TV to the Amp. So now all the Amp does to take audio in from the TV via the optical. It's useful too because the TV comes with some great apps built in like Netflix for movies.

The TV optical out is set to PCM and so is the PS4 Pro.

Is this the best way for me to set this up?

EDIT
Another question, I don't have two sets of surrounds and it's a small room. Should I wire the back speakers to surrounds or surround back?
