One of my favorite valves makes an intermittent noise. It's going to be hard to describe what it sounds like. Almost like a screech, a bit of a pop, screech again. Almost like the sound you get when your record has finished playing and the needle is stuck in the end grooves of the record.
Should I be concerned about this? Can it cause damage to my amp if the valve is busy failing?
