Ordering stuff from Amazon.com or .uk

As above. Our local online retailers seem to have run out of steam - haven?t we all - and products. Ordering books, cd?s  ( :faint: yes, still play those) and dvd?s from the big A: any issues?

Hidden charges at arrival? Differences between  .com and .uk?

And please tell me they do NOT deliver through SA Post Office, that would be a no go for me.
